This Privacy Policy explains how the Smart Screener Pro Chrome extension handles data.

1) What the extension does

Smart Screener Pro displays crypto market information (such as tickers, price changes, and volume) from supported exchanges inside the extension UI, and provides one-click access to open charts on TradingView.

2) Data we collect

We do NOT collect

  • Browsing history
  • Webpage content you view
  • Keystrokes, form data, or personal messages
  • Precise location data

We may process

  • License key / activation token (for Pro features)
  • Extension settings (exchange, timeframe, filters, theme, language)
  • Optional alert preferences (if you enable notifications)

3) How data is used

  • To save your preferences locally in the browser using chrome.storage.
  • To verify Pro activation via a secure HTTPS request to our license verification service.
  • To fetch public market data (JSON) from supported exchanges and public data providers.
  • To show optional alerts using chrome.notifications when you enable them.

4) Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share user data with third parties for purposes unrelated to the extension’s single purpose (market scanning and chart access). Network requests are limited to:

  • Supported exchange public APIs (tickers/volume)
  • Public metadata providers (e.g., market cap/supply and logos where available)
  • Our license verification endpoint (to validate Pro access)
  • TradingView (only when you click to open a chart)

5) Where data is stored

  • Settings and activation state are stored locally in your browser using chrome.storage.
  • We do not store your browsing history.

6) Security

We use HTTPS for network requests. You should keep your license key private. No system can be guaranteed 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect transmitted data.

7) Your choices

  • You can disable notifications at any time from the extension settings.
  • You can remove the extension to delete locally stored settings from your browser.
